When we started KEEN in 2003, we said we’d do things differently. We’d bring people together, look out for each other, and take care of our planet. That’s why we’re in business. We just happen to make really good shoes.

Harvest Materials
We use harvested materials, like webbing made from post-consumer plastic bottles and outsoles made with agricultural waste. Fewer resources, less impact.
Source Ethically
We care about the communities that make our shoes. Putting people and planet first involves every step in the shoemaking process.
Detox the Planet
We’re removing harmful chemicals from our shoes and have been PFAS Free since 2018. No forever chemicals here.

We think the most sustainable shoe is the one you can keep wearing. We find innovative ways to make shoes more durable, comfortable, and versatile.
